We're a small day centre in Totnes for people aged 65 and over. If you like older people's company and you're reliable and kind, the rest can be taught — and we will teach it.

We take people on as the centre grows, and we are always glad to hear from someone who would be right. Send a CV to info@compassionatecarecompany.co.uk and we will keep it on file, or ring the office for a chat about what might be coming up.
A few hours can make a real difference.
If you enjoy spending time with older people and would like to become part of our friendly centre, we'd love to hear from you. Whether you can offer a few hours regularly or help occasionally, your time could be spent joining in with activities, supporting us on outings or simply sharing conversation and companionship.
We also welcome students completing health and social care courses, whether you need placement hours, practical experience or an opportunity to build your confidence within a warm and supportive care setting. Please get in touch for a friendly chat about how you could become involved.
